What else does Ostrava ZOO offer its visitors ?:

  • we don’t forget you mothers (baby room in elephant area)
  • the opportunity to take away a reminder of your visit (zoo shop)

And what’s not allowed in our zoo?

  • feeding and teasing the animals
  • entering the complex with balloons, dogs, or other animals
  • climbing over barriers or straying from the marked paths
  • riding around the complex on rollerskates, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles
  • damaging the greenery of littering the complex

We are open daily all year round

November, December, January 9,00 a.m. – 4,00 p.m.
February 9,00 a.m. – 5,00 p.m.
March, September, October 9,00 a.m. – 6,00 p.m.
April – August 9,00 a.m. – 7,00 p.m.

 How to get to the ZOO

 

The zoo can be reached by city public transport, on:

  • trolleybus no. 101 (starting point – Hlavní nádraží)
  • no. 104 (starting point – Náměstí republiky)

Visitors travelling by car are welcome to use the car park in front of the zoo entrance.
